The first and only time i saw him was also the first (but not the only) time i attended the yanxiying. He got lost and was more than an hour late for his speech. The food was getting cold and we were getting quite hungry. These are the only things i remember from what he said:
1. A former president lost in his own country, isn't it ironic?
2. Newspaper gives the best value for money in this world.
It is always sad when people go, especially good people. i don't know about people's president and those stuffs, but i liked him a lot through that one-hour-plus encounter, during which i sat at the first row and had to refrain from fidgeting.
