bluepen is twenty-one & still uninteresting. it feeds on blueink, and thinks bluethoughts; only rarely does it turn white, and even then it's bluish white

You are leaving, like, in a week's time. Haven't tried this before, have we? Being separated for so long at a go. i'm hoping this is a trip well-placed to finally put an end to our life's drama. As if life's really a drama.

Well it's not. When you come back you're going to find everything the same as when you leave - perhaps a little different but the same, if you know what i mean. i don't quite know but i'm applying a little apathy here. It's alright, just play our roles. As if life's really a drama.

Well it's not. But you be careful there and don't fall down those canyons right?

Fingers combed the keyboard, searching out each individual letters: first a b, then l, then u, then authocomplete did the job - i arrived at my own blog. Like so many previous times, i've been meaning to write something but ended up staring at it for two full minutes, as if something would appear on its own accord. Nothing ever did.

Life's stale, the SAF sucks, regulars are dumb... even the complaints have been exhausted, as i sat with Yong Chuen in a windy-sunny afternoon on a surprisingly comfortable bench amid the moving Toa Payoh crowd.

So why can't i leave this year? For someone who insisted on doing every question in the Physics TYS in sequence, the reason is quite apparent. But you failed to point it out. And i failed to see this perfect excuse till 30 seconds ago.

Haven't been posting much mainly due to the following few endeavours:

1. Finished The LOTR, finally. i must be the last person on Middle... err i mean Earth. Suggestions of Aragorn's or Sam's confused sexual orientations are mildly amusing. Too few died, and the ending was too happily-ever-after fairy tale for my taste. Call me sadistic.

2. Finished two pre-1949 Chinese novels - Yuan of Half a Life by Eileen Chang and Fortress Besieged by Qian Zhongshu. Strongly recommend both, even if you read in English or French.

3. Got myself addicted to Wikipedia. And, as a result, bought a lot more books to read.
