bluepen is twenty-one & still uninteresting. it feeds on blueink, and thinks bluethoughts; only rarely does it turn white, and even then it's bluish white
It's over! Though there are still much to do, the end of A Level still made the air easier to breathe. It took me a full minute, during which i was still thinking about one of the fluid questions, after the end of the Physics paper to realize my liberation. As a unique way to end my JC life, i was ordered to stand up and put my finger to my mouth in front of the entire hall by this external invigilator, for turning around to talk to Yu Chong...
Then decided to be looney and went to catch
Looney Tunes: Back in Action. Crappy and fun show, with both looney and subtle humour. Enjoyed it very much. Even the constant giggles (even at the totally un-funny parts) of this pair of gays in front didn't manage to irritate me too much. My favourite part of the movie happened to be the chase in the Paris Art Museum. You have to watch it for yourself to know. :)
OMG! Steph Song appeared in a TV ad (alongside Glen and Rod, what a shame) bra-less!!! Totally hot!!! *pants* That's all the compensation i need for missing the Elite models competition thingy.
According to Business Week's second annual ranking of the top 50 philanthropists in the US, Bill Gates and his wife Melinda Gates come in first with US$23 billion donation given or pledged to charity. That sum is 54% of the couple's net worth. Ironically, George Soros, the joker who ignited the 1997 Asian currency crisis, places third, having donated US$2.4 billion to charity, or 68% of his net worth. Now we know where our lost GDP ends up. (Also in the ranking are No. 2, Mr Gordon Moore, co-founder of Intel Corp; No.6, Mr and Mrs Michael Dell, self-explanatory; and No. 7, the Walton family, founders of Wal-Mart.)
After a rough calculation, i think i know approximately 104 people presently in RJ by name - a rather sad number...
Anyway, majority of the A Level is now over. There are only three papers left, all of which are physics. Paper 1 and 2 of physics proved to be easy, though the large prints of the Cambridge paper gave me a very creepy and unsettled feeling. Hopes are that paper 3 will be a breeze too, and of course, the physics S paper.
Starting to relax a bit already, catching up on lost sleep and lost hair* and all. And also trying to rush the college/scholarship application essays so that i can relax with peace after the exams.
* On lost hair:
Me: i think i'm losing hair at amazing speed lately. Must be all the stress...
Mum (throwing a glance at Dad): Oh no, you're going to end up like Dad.
Dad: What's wrong with me? Clever people do not have hair. It's part of evolution.
Mum: What about Wen Jiabao? He's so old but has got so much hair.
Dad: That's why he's only the Premier, not Chairman.
Thisisisisis so depressing. All the happening stuffs are happening while i'm MIA.
The Matrix marathon was over,
Havana Night ends on the 23rd, the Foam Party's this weekend, and there are countless other things that have come and gone... and my hair is getting from bad to worse. Where have all the good times gone?
Sometimes, when somebody remembers some small things about you, which otherwise even you yourself would have completely forgotten, it just melts your heart...
This place has been, and will be quiet for quite a while. For i have so many college/scholarship application essays to write that if i have anymore creative juice remained, i'd squeeze it out and smear it onto the paper and try to make the blot as large as i can.
